We are pleased to announce the five finalists in the Small Treasures exhibition. Winners will be announced during a ceremony at the PMC Symposium on July 28th. Thanks to all the talented artists who submitted work.
PURPOSE
To promote creative exploration, generate interest in new materials, and encourage excellence among PMC artists.
Criteria
The competition is open to jewellers and PMC artists working in the UK and Europe.
Items for entry can be jewellery, sculpture, ornaments or any other interpretation.
All work must be original and made by the designer. Entries can include mixed materials but PMC should account for at least half the piece. There is no specific size requirement, but please note that the title is "Small Treasures."
Timetable
Winners will be notified by 1st May 2007
Selected entrants were invited to exhibit their pieces at the first UK PMC Guild Symposium in July 2007.
